Special event as part of this day:
u10 foil and u10 epee fencing competitions
These are geared to those u10 on Jan 1st 2017.
Fencers can compete in either, or both.
This is really planned as an introduction to competition, so we have lots planned for everyone:
- warm-up training for the fencers prior to their competition
- an introduction to looking after weapons/Armoury workshops with Andy Goodier (fencers and parents)
- and a chat about how the competition will run & how to compete
AND
Fencing is to be around Sabre – everyone from those who want to have a go to those who are experienced and already competing
Guest coach Csaba Gemesi, head of the Szent Istvan University Fencing Club of Godollo
In addition, there are planned sessions with parents who, we hope, will stay & be involved with setting up & generally assisting the competition
